GETTING HERE & AROUND

GETTING HERE   GETTING AROUND

Getting to Slovenia from the UK is quick and easy. Flights operate on a daily basis from London Stansted to Ljubljana Brnik airport with Easyjet. From Brnik airport to Bled is just a short transfer of approximately 30 minutes. Other airlines flying to Slovenia are Adria, the national airline of Slovenia, which flies daily from Gatwick or it is also possible to fly with Ryanair from Stansted to Graz or Klagenfurt (Austria) or Trieste (Italy) or from Birmingham to Trieste (starting Summer 2008).

Car Hire

We can arrange transfers as part of your package but we recommend that if you want to get out and about and see more of the country, you should hire a car. Driving here is easy and all the major roads are good. We also have arrangements for our clients with a car hire firm and can give you details of this on request.

Buses and Trains

Buses run from Bled to Bohinj during the summer and throughout the year to Ljubljana, Kranj and Brnik airport. Bled does not have its own train station but you can take a train from Lesce which is just 3km from Bled.

Ski Bus

During the ski season, a ski bus operates daily from Bled to the ski resorts at Kobla, Vogel and Krvavec and costs just 10 Euros return per person.
