ITINERARIES We can tailor-make an itinerary to suit you and your group but to give you some ideas, here are some itineraries we’ve used previously. For groups of 4 or more persons, just tell us what you want to do and we’ll design a holiday for you. Do as much or as little as you want to, we never forget it’s your holiday and your time is precious.

Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Bled (approx 30 mins). Day 2 – Winter Walking – A short transfer from Bled brings us to Zirovnica. From here we will walk up to Ajdna to tour the historical ruins of an old mountain village. We will continue to Valvasor Dom (1080m) for morning tea then continue to walk onto the high mountain pastures below the highest peak, Mt Stol (2236m), in the Karavanke mountain range. We will descend to Zavirsnica and end our day with a late lunch in Lovski Dom (The Hunters Lodge). Day 3 – Riding and Snow Activities – After a short transfer to Studor, near Bohinj, we will go to a Horse Ranch Mrcina with Icelandic horses. We will meet the horses and learn a little about them then head off-road for some scenic riding. We will go to the charming village of Sredna Vas for lunch and in the afternoon we will have a selection of snow games and activities at the ranch in Studor. Day 4 – Snowshoeing - Today we will start in Pokljuka, a mountainous plateau covered with deep and well-preserved pine forests in the heart of Triglav National Park. Using snowshoes we will walk to Blejska Koca (1630m) where we can have tea/soup. The adventurous among you can then continue the ascent to the peak of Brdo (2000m). Day 5 – Toboganning – Transfer to Bohinj followed by a drive to Vogar (1200m) and we will descend the longest toboggan run in Slovenia (10-12km). After lunch we will walk the 12km circuit of Lake Bohinj which is the largest permanent natural lake in Slovenia. Day 6 – Free Day – A choice of optional activities. For those who would like to do some downhill skiing or maybe ice-climbing, this can be arranged. A walk to Vintgar Gorge near Bled, a relaxing day in Bled or a visit to historic Radovljica to the Bee Museum and Lectar Restaurant and Gingerbread Workshop which dates from 1822. Day 7 – Cross Country Skiing – Today we return to Pokljuka to the site of the World Biathlon Championships to the cross country ski trails. Lunch will be taken in Pokljuka. Day 8 – Free morning followed by afternoon transfer to the airport. |

| TYPICAL SUMMER ITINERARY | ||
Day 1 – Arrive, Airport transfers to accommodation. Meet to discuss the week ahead. Day 2 – A Day Hike in one of the stunning mountainous areas of The Karavanke or The Julian Alps. Day 3 – Canoeing and Climbing in Lake Bohinj. A short transfer from Bled takes us to the beauty and tranquillity of Lake Bohinj. In the morning we will climb on the natural rock face with qualified climbing instructors to help you on your way to new heights. In the afternoon, we will take to canoes and enjoy the tranquility of paddling on Lake Bohinj. Day 4 – Cycling - A short transfer up to the high plateau of Pokljuka. Here we will have various cycling routes available on the plateau ending with a 1000m descent to return to Bled. Day 5 – A Day Hike in one of the stunning areas of Slovenia. Day 6 – Optional Activity Day – Today you can choose to either rest and enjoy exploring Bled or you may choose something more adventurous and go canyoning, paragliding or horseriding. Day 7 – Cycling & Rafting – We will cycle to Radovljica where we will join our raft trip on the Sava River. A picnic lunch is provided then you can enjoy volleyball or relaxing by the river in the afternoon. Day 8 – Free morning followed by afternoon airport transfers. |
